Getting to work on the Office/Gym, originally uploaded by Life in the Pumpkin Shell.

2/3rds of the barn is getting converted into my office studio work space.

This is very exciting.

Slow motion exciting.

Tom's work added two days a month (24 hours) to his schedule. Not a terrible thing in these financially trying times. He's tired, though.

So far, he's done the conversion almost entirely by himself. Including the electrical work.

Before he was a dentist, he was a carpenter, and he's fearless, and he's brawny, so he has pretty much torn this building apart, section by section. (Check out his quads. *woof*)

I'll be happy if the siding gets replaced before snowfall. That's in the works. Probably October (fingers crossed). There's a heater to install, insulation, drywalling, all that stuff, but I'll be happy if it's weather proofed for the animals before it gets cold.
